Fellowmind Offers Digital Solutions to Agriculture
Rome, 6 September 2019 // At Microsoft’s Digital Success Academy event, Fellowmind announced that they are working to provide digital and cloud technologies to the agricultural industry.
The initiative combines their technology consulting experience and its agribusiness knowledge with Microsoft’s Business Applications Platform to help companies innovate and transform their businesses.
Fellowmind will focus on the entire agribusiness value chain, including agrochemical, agriculture equipment, co-ops and food processing.
By 2050, the world’s population will increase to an estimated 9.6 billion people, which will require 70% more food than is available today.Gerdien Burghouts, Agribusiness Lead at Fellowmind
“The entire food value chain is challenged with feeding the world in ways that are safe, transparent, and sustainable,” said Gerdien Burghouts, leading the Agribusiness initiative.
“Fellowmind will play a significant role in helping to deliver the solutions the industry needs to provide for a growing population, whether that is through connected field services, digital interaction platforms or other digital solutions,” Burghouts added.
Based on the experience Fellowmind has with a variety of multinational agri-customers, the company developed a Digital maturity model for agribusinesses that can be used to assess their current state and to discuss the ambition level. This way, the Fellowmind team is able to support the future by starting today.
